Parish Footpaths
A public right of way is a route over land which the public has a legal right to use at any time. Some paths may be surfaced although most are tracks across countryside owned by landowners. These are not highways or roads.
There are 30 Public Footpaths in St Breward, totalling 33.76km, these are of various lengths, many with Links (spurs). Your Parish Council maintains the public Footpaths, acting as Cornwall Council’s (CC) client under the Local Maintenance Partnership. Cornwall Council has a statutory duty to maintain Public Rights of Way,

Mill Lane Footpath Project (St Breward Footpath 535.6.1) The Parish Council were awarded a grant from Cornwall Council to improve the surface of the footpath in Mill Lane from the road at Row, down to the footbridge. The work was carried out in Spring 2026
