Carnival Week 2020 Cancelled

It is with sincire regret that this year, due to the current Corona Virus situation that this years Carnival will not take place.  This is not a decision we have reached lightly and is in line with ensuring we do not put anyone at risk

Therefore the all planned 2020 Carnival Week events including Carnival Day are cancelled

Everyone needs to stay safe and well during this unprecedented time so we can all come out other side a stronger community.  We will make every effort to ensure the Carnival 2021 takes place and will look forward to making it a bit more special for everyone.

Other events we are looking to oprganise later on in the year may still take place, so please watch this spece!!

St Breward Carnival was restarted in 1988 after a laspse of some 20 years. Rumour has it that the idea was muted over a few beers in The Old Inn!!   Joe Kay was on the original committee, and is currently President of St Breward Carnival Association

Now thirty years later we are still a Village Carnival having fun whilst fundraising for Village Organisations.

And here they are twenty seven Scarecrows supporting and thanking all the Keyworkers
