St Breward Parish Council

The Parish Council is pleased to let everyone know that the Play Area at Rylands has been upgraded; the main work was to install a sunken trampoline, which has been very well recived !!
A new bench has been installed, the cradle swing seats replaced and additioanl safety matting laid. The whole project, has cost in the region of £10,000.
The Play Area reopened on Monday 22nd March and was in use the same afternoon, with Bella Rose, Cacey, Freya, Sienna, Daisy and Mary testing the trampoline.
The Parish Council is particularly grateful to Mrs Nancy Hall for agreeing to the soakaway for the trampoline to be installed on the common outside the Play Area.  Parents and guardians of children using the Play Area are reminded to observe the guidnace notes on the Play Area gates.

 

St Breward Parish Church – ‘Book a Pew’                                                                      Following storm damage to St Tudy Parish Church, parishioners from St Tudy have ben invited to   attend services in St Breward Parish Church.  In order to accomodate all those wishing to attend whilst still adhering to social distancing, it has been decided to adopt a booking system

The Church remains open every day for private prayer and will soon be reopening for
Services
:Palm Sunday, 28th March – Holy Communion 11.10am
Good Friday, 2nd April – Devotion on the Cross 2pm
Easter Sunday, 4th April – Holy Communion 11.10am
All the usual distancing and sanitising will still apply.

You can download an Entry Form and Map  or you can contact the Carnival Secretary Sharon Bourne through the St Breward Carnival Facebook Page,  email or on 07967 454568.
