Cornwall Council mends potholes!!                                                                               Yes it’s true but only if people report the whereabouts of potholes – or other ‘highway’ problems

Cornwall Council is responsible for over 7272km (4545 miles) of roads, from major principal roads to narrow country lanes – this includes repairing potholes.

So if there is a pothole outside your property, where you work, shop, visit the Doctors, Dentists,  Hairdressers, Vets, Church, Chapel, Pub, Restaurant or Fish & Chip Shop let Cornwall Council know about it and they can put it on the list for repair.

To report problems with a road, highway or footway contact Highways here

You may be asked to give an estimate of the surface area of the pothole and its depth and a photo – the need to report a pothole is more important than putting yourself in danger checking these details.  Remember to note the reference number you are given which will enable you to follow the progress of your report

If you need to report something that is causing an immediate danger or is an emergency please call 0300 1234 222
