Street Lighting in St Breward                                   Cornwall Council have decided that from week commencing Monday 15th January, the street lights in St Breward (along with many other parishes in Cornwall) will be switched off between midnight and 5am                                                                                            

 

Community Café – Now Open Every Monday Afternoon                                              The Community Café in the Memorial Hall at Limehead, is now open every Monday afternoon  (including Bank Holidays) 1pm to 4pm
‘Do drop in, always plenty of tea, cake and chat’ Varied Menu including soups, savoury and sweet items and always cake!!  ‘Eat in or take away’ January Meal Deal – Soup, a bread roll, cake and a hot drink for £5

Family History Research Group Friday Afternoon 26th January                                                                                 The Family History Research Group meets in the Memorial Hall in Limehead on the second and fourth Friday afternoon of each month commencing at 2pm

We meet for people to come together, share their knowledge and collectively help each other’.

We have laptops available (if you are unable to bring one along), have the Internet available for online research and can offer access to Ancestry Worldwide

Hot Chocolate Morning Saturday 27th January                                                             Come along to the Hot Chocolate Morning in the Church from 10am.  Meet up with friends browse the stall and of course a raffle!

Church Services
On Sundays 21st and 28th January there will be Holy Communion Service commencing at 11.10am

Friends of St Breward Church – Traditional Games  Friday Night  15th March            The Friends of St Breward Church are holding a Traditional Games night on Friday 15th March at 7.00pm in the Village hall. (Please note date change from 2nd February).

Traditional games to be played:  A Beetle Drive, snakes and ladders, tiddlywinks, Ludo, bagatelle, and many more plus of course a raffle.

Tickets £7.50 per adult or £20 for a family of 4 to include  a 2 course meal, main course and sweet,  and a cup of tea or coffee. Bring your own drinks if required. History Group Meeting Wednesday Evening 31st January

Everyone welcome at the History Group meeting in the Village on Wednesday evening 31st January Jim Lewis will be speaking ‘The Lost Resort’
