Wildlife & Conservation Group 

‘Moth Night & Morning Events at Wenford Pottery (parking available),

Friday 24th June 10pm- 2am (wrap up warm and bring a torch) and Saturday from 11am to 4pm led by Maryann Thomas.

Friday night is for moth trapping, Saturday, for seeing what has arrived in the traps. Also on Saturday, there will be a Wildlife Wander by the River Camel which will include activities for adults and children:

  • looking for dragonflies and butterflies
  • finding out how many tree species there are in the area
  • finding beetles
  • riverbed dipping

and much more

The Community Bus departs Bolts Quarry Farm at 11.50am, travelling to the Football Club via Penvorder Lane, Higher Lank, Limehead, Row, Rylands, Churchtown (Shop), Rylands, Hallagenna and Colan’s Cross
The bus will return to Bolts Quarry Farm in the reverse direction

Find Your Ancestors with the Family History Research Group
Bring along the full name and date of birth (any other information will be a bonus), of the person you are intereested in researching

Saturday 2nd July – WE ARE BACK AFTER 2 YEARS ABSENCE
Meet at Rylands, Registration at 5.00pm, Judging 5.30-6pm with Procession at 6.00pm to St Breward AFC for Presentations, Bouncy Castles, Entertainment, Food and Bar.

Classes 1-3 are for visiting Royalty

 Animals (except Horses, Ponies or Donkeys) are welcome in all Classes

Prizes for First, Second and Third Place will be awarded in Classes 4-16

The Carnival Judge’s will also choose an entry that they consider merits special recognition

Please note that you can only enter one General Class as you cannot be in two places at the same time!
