News from the Carnival Team                                            Become a Carnival Champion!  We REALLY, seriously need your help!  The Carnival team are planning another full year of events and fundraisers, but we can’t do it without you!  Many of the events are to help provide free activities for children throughout the year (as well as giving grants to village organisations).  But we can’t do all these wonderful things unless more people step-up!

You don’t need to join the Committee (although we’d love it if you did), but we know that’s not everyone’s thing!  We mainly need a group of volunteers that we can call upon to help at events, serve refreshments, sell raffle tickets, bake a cake, or even just regularly donate a raffle prize etc.

Please get in touch ASAP with your contact details, to Carnival Secretary, Anneka at stbrewardcarnival1@gmail.com or 07784 127274 and Anneka will put together a list of our ‘Carnival Champions’

We’re only a small committee and this year we’re hoping to do:
– Easter ‘Coffee Cake & Craft’ morning, (this was on Saturday 9th March)
– Brain Battle of the Villages quiz (Home)
– Ten Tors entry
– CARNIVAL WEEK (please note. some of these are still to be confirmed), including: Scarecrows; Moorland Cinema Film; Cream Tea & Storytime; Soup & Sweet; Quiz; Johnny Cowling (TBC); Bingo; Discos; and CARNIVAL DAY (procession, face painting, bouncy castles, food, entertainment and more…)!
– Bodmin Moor (horse/pony) Fun Ride
– Brain Battle of the Villages quiz (Away)
– Christmas Lights Quiz
– Christmas Lights Switch-on
– PLUS, another special event that’s still in early planning stages…

So get in touch TODAY to become a Carnival Champion and help keep our wonderful Carnival events going!  Carnival Secretary Anneka  stbrewardcarnival1@gmail.com or 07784 127274
