Post Office Service in St Breward
Commencing Monday 17th July, the Post Office Mobile Service will visit St Breward on Monday afternoons         3-4pm, the van will be in the car park of The Old Inn

The Annual Church Summer Fete will be held at the Village Hall on Saturday afternoon 29th July from 2pm

Thursday 13th July ‘A Day of Music and More’
3.00-4.00pm    Behind the Scenes. An illuminating glimpse of the Brodsky Quartet at work
4.30-5.30pm   Cream Tea. Donations gratefully received in aid of Blisland Church
5.30-6.15pm    Festival Walk. Explore Lavethan with local historian Barry West: a walk around the house and grounds, including the Victorian Wild Garden under restoration, with its Holy Well and Celtic crosses. Bring sturdy shoes.
7.00pm  (doors open from 6.30pm)   Concert ‘Notes from America’
After the concert: a glass of champagne for the Friends of the Dante Festival

‘ I have now set up a ‘Stop Gap shop’ of essential items at Moorgoods so as to assist those who really rely on obtaining groceries locally whilst we await the establishment of the St Breward Community Shop  The items can be viewed on the Moorgoods website www.moorgoods.co.uk

Please note that this is not part of the intended St Breward Community Shop; I have resigned from the Community Shop Steering Group.’

 

Cornwall Council’s Time2Move Holiday Programme

A message from Cornwall Council about their Time2Move Holiday Programme

‘Bookings for this Summer’s programme are now open. Activities are taking place across Cornwall during the holidays, from 24th July – 1st September.

Sessions including multi sports, forest schools, circus skills, watersports and lots more, are open for children aged 5 to 16.

Don’t forget – every session includes a healthy meal for ALL children and there are funded places for children eligible for benefits-related free school meals – find your booking code on our website.

Not in receipt of benefits-related free school meals? Your child can still attend, activities are payable upon booking.

SEND provision – where possible we will do our best to offer support tochildren with SEND.
