History Group Wednesday Evening 26th April

Everyone welcome to the History Group meeting in the Village Hall on  Wednesday evening 26th April.
The speaker is Reg Shepherd and the subject Princes Chula and Bira.

Doors open at 6.30 pm, meeting starts at 7pm, £2 for members and £3 for visitors.  Complimentary refreshments and there will of course be a raffle!

Cream Tea Fundraiser Saturday Afternoon 29th April


All welcome at the Fundriaser in memory of Viv and Margery Crowle in the Village Hall on Saturday afternoon 29th April 2pm-5pm, in aid of Cornwall Air Ambulance and Cornwall Hospice Care

The Church bells will be rung and the handbell ringers will play during the afternoon. There will also be Tombola and Bric-a-Brac stalls

The event is being held in memory of Margery and Viv Crowle who were stalwarts of the Village and who died during the pandemic.

Coronation Celebrations

Community Picnic Lunch at Rylands on Monday 8th May 12noon -2pm ish

Bring along a picnic lunch, tables and chairs will be laid out; the Band will play and there will be face painting plus cake and ice cream for everyone!!
In order to know how many tables, chairs, cakes and ice cream will be needed  are asking every household to buy a ticket from St Breward Stores at £1 a household.

Do bring along a picnic rug just in case we run out of chairs!!
All the ticket numbers will go into a draw and the winner will receive a Carvery for four people (2 adults and 2 children), kindly donated by The Old Inn

The Community Bus will be doing a shuttle service:
Departing  Bolts Quarry Farm 11.30 and travelling to Rylands via Penvorder Lane, Higher Lank, Row and Churchtown

Departing Rylands 12noon and travelling back via Row, Mount Pleasant, Higher Penquite, Penvorder Lane, Higher Lank, Limehead and Row

Return Journey 2pm ish as required
