Would you like to contribute to St Breward’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations?
The Jubilee Group, made up of some 20 people from the community, is planning a number of events including a Royal Memorabilia Exhibition, Flower Display, Jive Dancing and afternoon Tea; followed by Evening Entertainment, a bonfire (Beacon) and a Community Picnic on the Football Pitch with entertainment for all the family.
The Jubilee Group and the Parish Council will also be providing two permanent granite Memorial Benches for the Village.
The Jubilee Group were unsuccessful in securing a grant from the Arts Council, due to over subscription from across the country. Therefore additional funds are needed to make these Jubilee celebrations successful and memorable occasions for the whole Community.
The Carnival Association and the Parish Council have each donated £500. The Parish Council are also funding commemorative mugs for all 17 year olds and under in the Parish
