Garden Club Friday Evening 29th September                                                           Everyone welcome to the Garden Club meeting in the Village Hall, on Friday evening 29^th September. Doors open 7pm for a 7.30pm star, Members £2 and visitors £3. The Speaker is Elizabeth Reeves on the subject of Joseph Lobb, Plant Hunter.

There will also be a grand bring and buy stall so an opportunity to bring along any plants, vegetables/fruits etc and anything else which you may feel that someone else can make better use of .

Parish Council Meeting Monday Evening  2^nd October   The October Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Monday evening 2^nd October in the Memorial Hall at Limehead, commencing at 7pm.

Prior to the start of the Meeting there will be an opportunity for members of the Public to discuss any items that appear on the Agenda with all the Parish Councillors. If any other members of the parish wish to discuss any other items they will be considered for next month’s Agenda

WenfordBridge Closed for Bridge Repairs Monday 25^th –Friday 29^th September (|This applies 24 hours a day)

Following damage to the bridge earlier this year, WenfordBridge will be closed Monday 25^th – Friday 29^th September (inclusive)

Traffic will be diverted via Lower Lank, Penpont, Poley’s Bridge and the crossroads above Loskeyle

Safari Supper Saturday 30^th September – Fundraising for our Community Shop

Book your tickets for the Safari Supper on Saturday evening 30^th September, organised by the Carnival Team with all proceeds going to the Community Shop

The Safari Transport (Community Bus) will be travelling between venues. Running out of Bolts Quarry from 5.30pm up through Limehead and Row up to the Church, then up Mount Pleasant to Brake Parc on to Penvorder and repeat Limehead up to the Church and continue that loop until just after 8 o’clock.

Five Courses at Community locations in the Village

Drinks & Nibbles – and raffle tickets in the Church, Starters in the Band Room, Main Course in the Village Hall, Desserts in the Memorilal Hall and finishing at the Football Club for Coffee, Cheese & Biscuits and drawing of the raffle!
