Moorland Community Cinema

popcorn-cropThe Moorland Community Cinema at the St Breward Institute & War Memorial Hall (Memorial Hall), is usually open on the first Saturday afternoon of the month.  Showing mainly classic films with the occasional recent releases.  Annual Membership £2. Admission Donations:  Members £3, Accompanied children £2.50, Visitors £4, admission donations include refreshments

The community cinema is licenced by The Motion Picture Licencing Corporation (MPLC) and a member of The BFI Neighbourhood Cinema, Cinema for All and Film Hub South West & West Midlands (SW&WM)

Saturday 10 November Tommies (2018) PG ‘Nurse Edith Cavell’ (1939) PG’

The War Memorial Hall will be re-dedicated before the start of the film.  No membership required

Rededication Service 1.15pm  Film Programme commences at 2pm.  Refreshments will be served after the films have finished.  There will be a raffle in aid of the British legion Poppy Appeal

 

 

 

 

Saturday 1 December 2019  ‘Miracle on 34th Street’ (1994) U,  This will be a Christmas Special.  A buffet lunch will be served at 1pm before the start of the film at 2pm
